Security cameras managed to capture the moment of his escape for a few moments. He quickly leaves the cameras' field of view without leaving a trace.

Detainee Altin Ndocit escaped from the premises of the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Durres on Tuesday. Ndocit, accompanied by two prison police officers, arrived at the hospital to conduct checks and examinations on the detainee.

While conducting the tests, Ndoci took advantage of the moment and attacked the officers waiting outside the laboratory door. It is learned that he was also shot with a gun during his escape.

It has not yet been identified whether the shooting was by the prison police or by people who were waiting for the escapee. After the escape, Ndoci went to a parking lot where a white Audi A7 with license plates AA700RS was waiting for him, which drove him away from the scene.

Police have launched investigations while checks and checkpoints are being carried out on the main axes connecting Durrës and Tirana as well as other cities.

Ndoci is considered a person of high social risk. He is accused by SPAK of murder, criminal group, etc. Ndoci is on trial as part of the "Golden Bullet" case for the Bradashesh massacre, where Endrit Alibej's brother, his uncle, Arben Dylgjeri, and a Turkish citizen were killed.

He was arrested in 2020 accused of the murder of brothers Besmir and Viktor Haxhia in Durrës as well as the murder of Dorjan Shkoza and Anxhelo Avdija, also in Durrës.
