The Mayor of Skenderaj demands from Krasniqi the dismissal of two PDK members from the CEC

The Mayor of Skenderaj, Fadil Nura, reacted today regarding the behavior of two members of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) at the Central Election Commission (CEC), demanding that the PDK chairman, Memli Krasniqi, dismiss them from the CEC.
In a reaction on Facebook, Nura emphasizes that PDK members in the CEC represent the party as a whole, and therefore their behavior must be in line with the party's interests and political positions, Telegrafi reports.
He expressed regret for the actions of the two current representatives, who, according to him, have failed to protect the dignity and positions of the party during CEC meetings, by failing to react to repeated insults and attacks by representatives of the Vetëvendosje Movement.
"The members of the Democratic Party of Kosovo in the Central Election Commission (CEC) represent the Democratic Party of Kosovo as a whole. Considering the recent developments in the country's political scene, as well as the ongoing commitment of many of our members in protecting the citizens' vote and electoral integrity, we assess that the behavior of the two current PDK representatives in the CEC has been regrettable and contrary to the interests of the party," their reaction states.
He further added that "Instead of contributing to the defense of the positions of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and reacting to the repeated insults and attacks by representatives of the Vetevendosje Movement at CEC meetings, these members have failed to defend the dignity and political positions of the party."
"Such behavior damages the image and credibility of the Democratic Party of Kosovo in an important institution such as the CEC. For these reasons, we ask the Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo to immediately take the necessary measures to relieve these two members of the CEC from their duties and to replace them with other representatives with high professional and political integrity, who will defend with dignity the interests of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the vote of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo", said Nura. /telegraph/
