The list of the 10 worst players in the Premier League this season has been published

The 2024/25 Premier League season has been full of standout performances, with Mohamed Salah, Chris Wood and Alexander Isak among those impressing.

However, not all players have lived up to expectations, with some struggling for form.

10. Caleb Okoli, Leicester City (6.31)

Leicester invested in Atalanta centre-back Okoli to bolster their defence, but his performances have been inconsistent. Despite early promise, he has struggled in the Premier League, making 16 appearances and accumulating 1003 minutes. Okoli remains a player with potential, but his debut season in England has been a poor one.

9. Hee-chan Hwang, Wolverhampton Wanderers (6.30)

After a strong 2023/24 campaign with 12 league goals, Hwang has struggled to replicate his form this term. With just two goals in 17 appearances and limited playing time (612 minutes), the South Korea international has struggled to make an impact. Now 29, he will need to rediscover his scoring touch to regain relevance in Wolves' attack.

8. Adam Armstrong, Southampton (6.30)

Armstrong's poor performances at Southampton resulted in a loan move to West Bromwich Albion in January. Before his departure, he had scored just two goals and provided two assists in 20 appearances. The Championship could be a better fit for Armstrong, as he has failed to prove himself in the top flight.

7. Oliver Skipp, Leicester City (6.25)

Signed to help Leicester in their battle for survival, Skipp has been unable to cement his place in the team. Playing under two different managers, he has featured in 16 matches, accumulating 772 minutes, but contributing little in attack or defence.

6. Rasmus Hojlund, Manchester United (6.25)

Signed for €80m, Hojlund's first full season at Man United has been disappointing. Despite his potential, the Danish striker has only scored two league goals in 21 appearances. Although he has excelled in Europe, his struggles at home have left fans wondering whether he can adapt to the Premier League.

5. Calvin Phillips, Ipswich Town (6.22)

Once a key player for England and Leeds United, Phillips has failed to revive his career at Ipswich. After a disastrous loan spell at West Ham, his struggles have continued, with just 15 appearances and no goals or assists. At 28, Phillips needs to rediscover his form before his career falters further.

4. Cameron Archer, Southampton (6.21)

Archer was expected to be Southampton's go-to goalscorer but he has struggled massively. With just two goals in 23 appearances, his lack of impact has been a key factor in Southampton's poor season. A potential move to Leeds could give him a fresh start, but his Premier League performances have been forgotten.

3. Enes Unal, Bournemouth (6.17)

Despite showing glimpses of his quality, Unal has been unable to make a lasting impact at Bournemouth. The Turkish striker has scored just two goals in 17 appearances, often coming on as a substitute. While injuries have hampered his progress, he will need to do more to justify his place in the team.

2. Vladimir Coufal, West Ham United (6.15)

Once a key player for West Ham, Coufal has seen few minutes this season. The arrival of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and other challenges have left him on the sidelines and in 733 minutes of play, he has not scored or provided an assist. At 32, his future at the club remains uncertain.

1. Archie Gray, Tottenham Hotspur (6.15)

Highly regarded before his move to Tottenham, Gray has struggled in an unfamiliar role at centre-back due to injuries to the squad. Despite making 19 appearances, the 18-year-old is yet to provide a goal or assist. While he remains a promising talent, his performances this season have been anything but impressive. /Telegraph/
