Drita is the champion of Kosovo for the 2024/25 edition in the Albi Mall Super League.
The team from Gjilan has mathematically secured the championship title four rounds before the end of the season, after accumulating 69 points, 12 more than second-place Balkan.
And after being declared champions of Kosovo, Drita will be the only Kosovar team to participate in the Champions League qualifiers.
The Gjilan team will start their adventure in the 'Champions' from the first qualifying round.
And from this qualifying round, 30 European teams will start, while Drita will be in the pot of favorite teams.
This is a great advantage for the Gjilan team as it can face easier opponents and will have a greater chance of advancing.
For Drita, it is the third time they will be in the Champions League qualifiers, while previously they have passed the rounds in the Europa League and the Conference League, and now they aim to do the same in the Champions League. /Telegraph/
