Leaders' meeting without result, is the Constitutional Court the "key" to the political impasse?

At the height of the political crisis with the failure to constitute the Kosovo Assembly, President Vjosa Osmani's announcement to seek interpretation from the Constitutional Court is being assessed as appropriate by analysts. However, the possibility that the court will not address the request at all cannot be ruled out because the process has not yet produced any decision.
The meeting of party leaders with President Vjosa Osmani did not yield any results in breaking the political deadlock, which is culminating in the failure to elect the Speaker of the Assembly.
After the meeting, Osmani said that if this process drags on too long, she may have to take the matter to the Constitutional Court.
But, in this body of justice, the AAK has already requested an assessment of the constitutionality of the proposal for the formation of the Secret Ballot Committee for the Election of the Speaker of the Parliament of Kosovo.
The Constitutional Court, according to Melos Kolshi from the Kosovo Law Institute, may not deal with the request addressed to it at all.
"It may not take action because it is not producing any legal consequences, and above all, it has not been signed by the chairperson, in fact the president of the Assembly," declared Melos Kolshi from IKL.
Kolshi adds that, if the Constitutional Court accepts and decides to assess constitutionality, then it can provide explanations for resolving the crisis.
"It can also be used to explain the situations and crises that we really have now, and show that this right that has been given to the largest party or other opposition parties by the Constitution should not be abused," Kolshi declared.
Meanwhile, political analyst Albinot Maloku says that if the President requests additional clarifications from this Court, it could affect the resolution of this crisis.
"I consider that the attempt to give a greater scope to an agreement, through some additional discussions, as the president said, is more fair than the attempt to issue additional documents," declared Albinot Maloku, a political analyst.
So far, the deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo have failed for the sixteenth time in a row to constitute the ninth legislature, resulting from the February 9 elections.Dukagjin/
