The trial for the Partizani file, where the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi, have been accused and prosecuted for more than a year, has been postponed.
This Friday, a judicial review of the privatization file of the former sports club "Partizani" failed to take place.
According to Euronews Albania journalist Eni Ferhati, the reason for the postponement of the hearing was the absence of the defendant's lawyer, Xhimi Begeja.
The next session is Tuesday, April 15th at 14.00:XNUMX p.m.
Judge Flojera Davidhi will decide today whether or not to proceed to trial after SPAK prosecutors make their final reply to the defense's claims.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, are under indictment in connection with the privatization of the former complex. /Telegrafi/
