Kryeziu: The Kosovo Consulate in Stuttgart caused a scandal after organizing the anniversary of independence at the Islamic center

Ismet Kryeziu from the organization Democracy in Action (DnV) has described as a scandal the organization of the celebration for the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence by the Kosovo Consulate in Stuttgart, in cooperation with the Albanian Islamic Center.

He emphasizes that Kosovo Independence is a national holiday and should not be linked to religious organizations.

According to Kryeziu, Kosovo's diplomatic missions should mark this event institutionally, without involving religious organizations, considering this case as a dangerous precedent.

"This is an unacceptable situation, where a state institution collaborates with a religious entity to organize an event that belongs to the entire nation. This shows a failure of our diplomatic institutions abroad," he stated.

He has also criticized ambassadors and consuls, saying that many of them are not clear about their mission and duty as representatives of the state of Kosovo.
