The Municipality of Shtime has inaugurated today the road connecting the Second Economic Zone of the village of Glavicë with the Shtime-Ferizaj highway, an investment worth over 600 thousand euros, which is expected to contribute to the economic development of the municipality, reports Telegraph.
The Mayor, Dr. Qemajl Aliu, said that this road constitutes an important step towards the functionalization of the economic zone.
"This road connects the economic zone of Gllavica with the Shtime-Ferizaj highway. It is a modern investment, with a width of 7 meters, drainage channels, atmospheric sewage, sidewalks and public lighting, with all the necessary standards for a modern infrastructure," declared Mayor Aliu, emphasizing that the road is only part of the numerous investments in this area.
He added that in addition to this road, nearly half a million euros have been invested in the development of the Economic Zone, with the aim of starting its operation and establishing businesses next spring, which will ensure sustainable development for Shtime and the surrounding area.
The Gllavica Economic Zone extends over approximately 37 hectares and is expected to become one of the largest and most important industrial zones in the region. /Telegrafi/
