Governor of the Central Bank of Albania: Economic growth 3.9% in 2025, 4.1% expected for 2026

The Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK), under the leadership of Governor Ahmet Ismaili, has published the country's main economic data for 2025, highlighting positive growth and sustainable financial stability.
According to the CBK report, Kosovo's economy has grown by 3.9 percent this year, with domestic consumption, growing exports, and stable remittance flows as the main contributors.
Governor Ahmet Ismaili emphasized that "the trends of financial stability and economic growth show the strength of the Kosovo economy, despite global challenges," reports Telegrafi.
For 2026, the CBK forecasts economic growth of 4.1 percent, driven by investment and improving economic activity. Remittances continue to play a key role in supporting consumption, with an expected value of 1.4 billion euros by the end of the year.
The report also highlights a trend of increasing foreign direct investment, which is expected to further contribute to economic development and the creation of new jobs.
Governor Ismaili emphasized that "our goal remains to maintain financial stability and create conditions for sustainable growth, fostering confidence in the Kosovo economy and investment partners." /Telegrafi/
