The government of Montenegro did not participate in the celebration of Kosovo's independence in Podgorica? Djukanovic's party reacts

The media in Podgorica, Montenegro, echoed the news that the government officials in this country from the Montenegrin political parties did not participate in marking the 16th anniversary of Kosovo's independence organized by the Kosovo embassy in this country.
The party of the former president of this country, Millo Gjukanović, DPS, reacted to this.
Aleksandra Vuković-Kuq, vice president of the DPS and member of the Assembly of Montenegro, has stated that the fact that none of the highest officials of the state of Montenegro did not appear at the reception on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Montenegro Kosovo, organized by the embassy of this country in Podgorica, is the last diplomatic blunder of the current government and the parliamentary majority.
""With such an action, government representatives showed a lack of respect for the state of Kosovo, its sovereignty and territorial integrity", it is said in the communiqué of this party.
According to her, after "Bosnia and Herzegovina sent a note of protest to our country yesterday, this scandal continued the destruction of the traditional relations of good neighborliness of Montenegro with the countries of the region".
She added that "we are looking for an official answer from the MFA why the government boycotted the reception at the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo and if this non-diplomatic act is in fact the price it has to pay for the support it receives from Andrija Mandiq".
Otherwise, Mandić is the president of the Assembly of Montenegro and comes from the Serbian parties that are known to be close to Aleksandar Vučić in Serbia.
Former Prime Minister Dritan Abazović also raised this issue. Yesterday in Klan Kosova, he asked if the Montenegrin government officials were from the Montenegrin parties in marking the 16th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.. /Telegraph/
