The former Liverpool legend expects Real Madrid to offer 150 million euros for Palmer

One of the world's top clubs has been tipped to make a €150m bid for Cole Palmer next summer.

Palmer now has 11 goals and six assists in the Premier League after scoring twice and assisting Enzo Fernandez in the Blues' 4-3 win over Tottenham.

His second goal saw him break Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's record as the player who has contributed to the most goals (37) in a calendar year.

Despite the many transfers over the last two years, Chelsea are now in a position where they have to have relatively a smaller squad, as their star players are on big contracts.

As a result, it would take a huge price for him to leave Chelsea, but there is one club that would be able to pay him.

That's according to Liverpool legend Graeme Souness, who believes Real Madrid would consider a €150m bid to add Palmer to their squad.

"Chelsea paid 40 million for Palmer, but if Real Madrid knock on the door next summer and he's at the level he's showing now, I wouldn't be surprised if they get an offer of 150 million euros."

"He's a young lad but if this is Palmer's level and he can be consistently that good, he's going to be a big player," Souness said./Telegraph/
