The short film "The Call", directed by Mirak Zymberaj, is representing Kosovo at one of the most important international festivals for short feature films - Alexandria Short Film Festival, held in Egypt.

This festival is one of the qualifying events for the film industry's most prestigious award, the Oscars.

The news was announced by director Mentor Zymberaj, who shared his excitement and pride for the inclusion of this Kosovar film among the works competing in this event with a high international artistic reputation.

"Tonight at the Alexandria Short Film Festival – Qualification Festival for OSCAR, the film THE CALL directed by Mirak Zymberaj is presented, which represents Kosovo at this important international artistic event!" – he wrote in a Facebook post, underlining the importance of participating in this renowned festival on the world short film scene.

The official poster released shows a moment from the film "The Call", with the main actor in an emotional scene, while it is noted that this is its premiere in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa).
