The famous tennis player shocks the tennis world by ending her career at a very young age

Spanish tennis player Sara Sorribes Tormo shocked the tennis world and decided to end her career, even though she is only 28 years old.

Sorribes announced that she would be taking a break from her career and wrote about it on social media.

"The cheerful and happy Sara you see off the field is far from the reality of everything I hold inside," she initially revealed in an Instagram post.

"I lost the desire to train, to progress and to go to tournaments. I decided to find time for myself, for my head and my body. I have been suffering on the field for some time," the Spaniard concluded.

She says that a difficult period is behind her and that she is deciding to take a break from her career due to stress.

By the way, Sorribes won the bronze medal in the pairs competition at the Paris Olympics last summer, where she competed with Cristina Bucs. She said she doesn't know if the career break will be permanent or temporary. /Telegraph/
