The President of the Republic of Kosovo congratulated the citizens for the participation and high democratic culture shown in these elections, appreciating the importance of a calm and transparent process.
She expressed the expectation that the Central Election Commission (CEC) will successfully complete the vote count by tonight.
However, following the failure of the software for processing and publishing preliminary results, information confirmed by the CEC, the President has called for the protection of the integrity of the electoral process, ensuring that every vote is counted accurately and in accordance with the will of the citizens.
She emphasized that she will remain in contact with all relevant institutions until it is fully ensured that the process of counting and publishing the results is conducted according to the highest democratic standards.
Further developments on the electoral process are expected to come from the CEC, which has already begun manual data collection for voting results. /Telegraph/
