A German citizen traveled to Africa to find his stolen phone.

A man from Aachen lost his phone. He activated the location tracking and discovered that his iPhone was in Africa, 5000 kilometers away from Germany.

He then promised his Instagram followers that he would fly to Senegal if the social media post received 10 likes.

He ended up getting three times the number of likes needed, so he was forced to keep his promise.

The man hitchhiked to Brussels and then flew to Dakar.

In Senegal, he was advised to avoid the dangerous area where the phone was tracked, while the police refused to help due to the inaccurate location.

However, the blogger continued his search with the help of a local resident and soon found the phone in a phone shop.

After a long argument and a threat to report the seller to the authorities for selling stolen goods, he finally got his iPhone back. /Telegraph/
