Expensive Pagani Zonda awaits new owner

One of several Pagani Zondas that were offered for sale through a public auction has returned to the market, and this time it is being sold by a German distributor.

It is about the Zonda Riviera model, which was sold for $2019 million at the end of 5.88. This time the asking price is not listed, but the value of this hypercar is probably twice as high today.

Like many other Zondas, the Riviera didn't originally leave the Pagani factory in this condition, but began life as a Zonda F and underwent a dramatic transformation in 2017. Inspired by the original 760 RS model, dozens of Zondas have been sent back to Pagani for similar modifications, turning them into unique 760 models. Despite passing through different hands, the car looks as good as new.

The exterior is impressive, not only have all the panels been replaced during the transformation, but the bodywork has been painted in metallic white, while the contrast is the brilliant carbon parts, such as the front apron, the sills, the front fender extensions, the roof opening, the herringbone, the rear wing and the large rear spoiler. The car becomes even more spectacular with the blue light details on the front, sides, rear and wheels.

As expected from a modified Zonda, the interior also features a lot of special details. Among them are unique badging, seats covered in a mix of blue Alcantara and blue leather, and many surfaces are covered in black leather. There are also details made of matte carbon fiber.

The Riviera is powered by a naturally aspirated 12-liter V7.3 engine, with power boosted to 760 horsepower. Power is sent through a secondary transmission to the rear wheels. Some even rarer versions are equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.

For Zonda enthusiasts, the Riviera is considered a breathtaking work of automotive art. /Telegraph/
