The Draft Spatial Plan for the Sharri National Park is being discussed in Dragash 

The Municipality of Dragash has announced that, organized by the Institute for Spatial Planning within the framework of the MMPHI, a public meeting was held to review the Draft Spatial Plan of the Sharri National Park and the Draft Strategic Environmental Assessment Report for the Spatial Plan in the Sharri National Park.

According to the announcement, this meeting was also attended by the Mayor of the Municipality, Bexhet Xheladini, and the Head of the Office for Communities, Uzair Hamza, who is also part of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group for the drafting of these documents, as well as other municipal officials.

Xheladini appreciated the cooperation so far during the drafting of these documents for the Sharr National Park, which, according to the announcement, "included many requests addressed by the Municipality and citizens."

"At this meeting, it was requested that many other requests be included in the Spatial Plan of the Sharri National Park," the announcement of the Municipality of Dragash states, reports Telegrafi.

Mayor Xheladini also reiterated the need to establish an office in Dragash within the Directorate for the Administration of the Sharri National Park, due to the specifics and extension of this park over a large area of ​​the territory of this municipality.

"The public consultation on the Draft Plan for the Sharri National Park still remains open and all those interested in the content of these documents and sending their comments and suggestions can contact the MMPHI and the Institute for Spatial Planning," the announcement concludes.

Public meetings to review the Draft Spatial Plan of the Sharri National Park and the Draft Strategic Environmental Assessment Report for the Spatial Plan in the Sharri National Park have previously been held in Suhareka and Prizren. /Telegraph/
