"The door is open" - Veliu's message to Abdixhiku: Resignation is not weakness, but an act of strength

Former Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Agim Veliu has reacted again about the situation created within the LDK after the December 28 election results.
Veliu emphasizes that the result of the December 28 elections for the Democratic League of Kosovo is a clear signal that cannot and should not be ignored.
"This is a message from citizens and such messages require deep reflection and political responsibility," Veliu wrote in a reaction on Facebook.
He states that the LDK's losses cannot be relativized or passed over in silence.
"In a democracy, responsibility is a prerequisite for trust, while resignation is not weakness, but an act of strength and political maturity. Therefore: the door is open!" Veliu wrote, thus sending a direct message to the current party leader, Lumir Abdixhiku.
Veliu calls for an open and democratic process within the LDK, including: Immediate analysis of the causes of the loss, internal openness and functional democracy, and a new electoral process at all levels that gives hope to the membership and the electorate.
He emphasizes the importance of the team rather than permanent individuals.
"LDK needs winners on its team, not permanent candidates! The time calls for bold decisions, not protecting what cannot be protected, not maintaining the status quo," Veliu emphasized.
It should be noted that in recent days there have been many critical voices inside and outside the LDK, regarding the decline that this party has had in the results of the December 28 elections, blaming the leadership of this entity for a lack of vision. /Telegraph/
