Warsaw debate mentions CEC: Kosovo experienced hybrid attacks during February 9 elections

Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bsilimi is participating in the meeting of ministers for European affairs in Warsaw, which was organized by the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Bislimi has announced that the topic of discussion will be the threats of hybrid attacks against the EU enlargement process and jointly facing the challenges that arise.

He held a conference before this meeting where he mentioned the attacks that occurred on the CEC website on election day on February 9.

"We had elections in Kosovo last week and we experienced firsthand this form of security threats in terms of attacks on the Central Election Commission's website, but also in a very sophisticated and intensive frequency of distribution and production of false information, very sophisticated in terms of the issues and the selected time," said Bislimi.

Bislimi emphasized that our countries may differ in the frequency and intensity of these threats, but we all have their presence in common, and therefore, according to him, the right choice is for us all to discuss the possible response to these security threats together. /Telegraph/
