The Central Election Commission has announced that the period in which registered political parties must inform the institution about their participation in the early parliamentary elections of December 28, 2025 through coalitions is continuing. This deadline, which opened on November 24, will end on November 30, 2025.

The spokesperson for the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi, confirmed to Telegrafi that by Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 10:00, a coalition has been submitted to participate in the elections.


"So far (Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 10:00), the CEC, respectively the Office for Registration, Certification and Financial Control of Political Entities, has been notified of the formation of a coalition for participation in the elections, as follows: "PAI – PDAK – LPB", consisting of the political parties Ashkali Party for Integration (PAI), the Democratic Party of Ashkali of Kosovo (PDAK) and the Movement for Cooperation (LPB)". The coalition can be built by at least two political parties," he stated.

Elezi further added that the political party cannot withdraw from the coalition once it has been certified until the election results are certified by the CEC.

"Also, a political party that is a member of a coalition cannot participate as a member of another coalition or even as a separate party in the same elections," he emphasized.

Otherwise, on Tuesday, the CEC made a decision to approve the budget plan for organizing early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which will be held on December 28, 2025.

The planned and approved budget for these elections is: 11,493,526 Euros.

The initial cost planned and presented at the CEC meeting was 7,771,486 Euros.

The final value of the planned budget also includes the approval of the amendment proposed during the meeting that foresees the sending of ballot packages to the addresses of voters who will register to vote by mail. The approximate cost for sending ballot packages through the postal service is 3,722,040 and is calculated for approximately 84,000 potential voters.

Following the meeting, the CEC made a decision to approve the Voting Centers in which the voting process will take place in the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, which will be held on December 28, 2025.

On election day, the voting process will take place in 948 Voting Centers, of which 910 centers for regular voting and 38 centers, one for each municipality, to enable conditional voting. /Telegraph/
