The court hearing against Hashim Thaçi is scheduled for November 28, the KLA's OVL reacts

The KLA's OVL has expressed its indignation and deep disappointment over the fact that the Specialist Chambers in The Hague have scheduled a preparatory conference for the country's former President, Hashim Thaçi, on November 28th.
Through a reaction on the social network Facebook, it was announced that November 28 is the day when Gjergj Kastrioti - Skanderbeg raised the flag in Krujë, marking the resurgence of the Albanians.
"It is Albania's Independence Day, the birthday of our commander Adem Jashari, and the date of the public appearance of the Kosovo Liberation Army. For us, this date is not just a national symbol, it is an entire identity, based on blood, sacrifice and pride," the post says.
The post also states that for the KLA OVL, holding a court hearing on this date constitutes an insult to our national feelings and disregard for the historical reality of the people of Kosovo.
"This unnecessary and meaningless choice only deepens the conviction that the Specialist Chambers continue to show a lack of sensitivity and a one-sided approach towards our liberation history and towards those who led the fight for freedom," the post says, among other things. /Telegrafi/
