The cornerstone of the new building of the Special Entity in the Municipality of Shtime is laid

The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the acting Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, and the director of ShSKUK, Elvir Azizi, were today in the Municipality of Shtime, on the occasion of laying the cornerstone of the new building of the Special Entity in this city.
An announcement states that with an investment value of 6.3 million euros, the new building of the Special Entity will include a total area of 6800 square meters. The duration of the works is expected to be two years.
"Describing it as an important day for patients who will use these spaces of this new building, the Prime Minister said that the works for the construction of the Special Institution have been a long-standing need for the Municipality of Shtime. He added that the functionality and construction of this new facility and the relocation from the old building constitute good news for healthcare in the Republic of Kosovo, and in particular for patients and for the Municipality of Shtime," the announcement states.
As announced in the announcement at the ceremony of laying this cornerstone, Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude to the Mayor of Shtime, Dr. Qemajl Aliu, Minister Arben Vitia, and the director of ShSKUK, Elvir Aziz.
"Minister Vitia said that the old facility of the Special Institution in Shtime, despite the investments that have been made, has never met the criteria sufficiently for residential patients who are offered 24-hour support. For the realization of the project, he thanked Mayor Aliu, who, as Minister Vitia expressed, with the empathy of a doctor and with extraordinary management as a mayor, has insisted that the works begin as soon as possible and thus the Special Institution can offer services that meet the needs of patients from all over the country."
Meanwhile, as announced in the announcement, Mayor Qemajl Aliu expressed his great joy that today the cornerstone of a project for which they have pledged to the citizens of Shtime was laid.
He said that this has been a social and moral obligation for our entire state and society to create better conditions for these patients, and this is being achieved thanks to the support of the Government, Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Vitia. /Telegraph/
