The club Florian Wirtz wants to join next season is revealed

Florian Wirtz has a preference for a particular club, as Manchester City and Bayern Munich have fallen behind in the race for the Bayer Leverkusen star.

According to the German daily BILD, the German sensation has already made it known that his preference is to join Real Madrid over Man City and Bayern.

His camp is said to be clear in their stance – if there is a chance of Wirtz joining Real Madrid, he will be patient and wait.

City are being considered as a backup option, with Bayern remaining the third team on Wirtz's wish list.

Wirtz has a release clause of 125 million euros, with a contract that expires in 2027.

This long-term deal provides the reigning German champions with a significant amount of money, so they have no intention of accepting any offer other than his clause.

Despite Wirtz being highly regarded at Real Madrid, the club's main priority remains the transfer of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The presence of players like Jude Bellingham, Brahim Diaz and Arda Guler has already created enough competition for Real Madrid, making it unnecessary to urgently transfer a player like Wirtz.
