The City of Skopje allocates subsidies for inverter air conditioners

After two years, Skopje residents are receiving subsidies for inverter air conditioners, after last night the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Orce Gjorgjievski, signed the decisions for the payment of subsidies, according to the Public Call in which the residents of the City of Skopje applied.
"Late last night I signed the decisions for the payment of subsidies according to the Public Call in which the residents of the City of Skopje applied. With this measure, we support households that have invested in the purchase of high-efficiency inverter air conditioners in 2025, which will bring lower costs, higher energy efficiency and significantly better living conditions. By investing in air conditioners, we are taking a step forward towards a cleaner and healthier environment. With reduced energy consumption and lower emissions, they directly contribute to air protection and the creation of a more ecological and sustainable Skopje", announced last night on Facebook, the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Orce Gjorgjievski.
The City of Skopje, as Gjorgjievski wrote, will compensate for the costs of supplying the equipment in the amount of up to 20.000 denars per household, in net amount, while personal income tax will be fully covered by the City.
"In the coming period, we will continue with new public calls for subsidies, with the aim of making the daily lives of our citizens easier and our city a better place to live," emphasized Gjorgjievski.
