Case of the baby found lifeless in a landfill in Pristina, Prosecution: We are awaiting the autopsy results

A baby was found without signs of life a day ago near a garbage dump in Pristina.

In relation to this, in a response to the Telegraph, the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina said that they cannot provide information because it could harm the course of the investigative procedure.

The Prosecutor's Office's media office said they are awaiting the results of the autopsy on the body.


"Regarding your question, we inform you that the State Prosecutor is undertaking all investigative measures and actions. The lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy, where we are awaiting the results from (IML).

"Right now, we cannot provide information because it could damage the outcome of the investigative procedure," the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina said.

Meanwhile, the Kosovo Police has invited anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Police directly. /Telegrafi/
