Joao Cancelo is set to become a Barcelona player again. The Catalan club confirmed on Monday the return of the Portuguese defender, who arrives on loan from Al Hilal.
In the announcement published by Barcelona, it is announced that Cancelo arrived in the city on Monday around noon, while in the afternoon he successfully completed medical and physical examinations at the Barcelona Hospital.
The formalization of the agreement is expected to take place this Tuesday, when he will sign the contract that will officially make him a Barcelona player again.
The signing ceremony will be held on Tuesday at 13:00 PM, in the office of club president Joan Laporta, while from 13:30 PM Cancelo will appear before accredited media for his first press conference as a new Barça player.
This is a return for Cancelo, who has previously been part of Barcelona, leaving a positive impression with his performances thanks to his flexibility, creativity and ability to play on both sides of the defense.
The Portuguese defender has built a rich career at the biggest European clubs, playing for Inter, Juventus and Manchester City, where he won several trophies and was regarded as one of the best attacking defenders in Europe.
