Approaching rains, a warning that should not be ignored

The Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo has warned of intense rainfall that could bring flooding to some areas of the country.
Meanwhile, the Municipality of Pristina has also reacted, saying that heavy rainfall during November 18-19, 2025, with high intensity in some areas of the country.
"These rainfalls may cause flash floods and rising water levels in certain locations. Our field teams are monitoring the situation and are prepared to intervene as needed. We urge citizens to be careful while driving, avoid areas at risk of flooding, and report any unusual situations to the city's emergency numbers. Citizen safety is our priority," the Municipality's announcement states.
In this regard, the Emergency Management Agency has also announced that it has taken all necessary measures to manage the situation and coordinate with relevant institutions.
The agency has called on citizens to be careful while driving, to avoid areas at risk of flooding, and to report any emergency situation to the unique number 112.
