The alarm about the kidnapping of a minor girl in Fushë Kosovë turned out to be false, the police launch an investigation

The case reported as the kidnapping of a minor on "Pajazit Islami" street in Fushë Kosovë, reported in the early hours of May 21, has turned out to be a false report, according to a statement from the Kosovo Police.

The initial complaint alleged that a minor girl was forced into a car by suspects and released after an hour.

During the alleged incident, it was also reported that the minor's mother was slightly injured while attempting to intervene.


After receiving the information, the investigative units of the police station in Fushë Kosovë, in cooperation with the State Prosecutor's Office, undertook intensive investigative actions using professional and technical capacities to solve the incident.

"As a result of intensive investigations and detailed analysis, it has been confirmed that there was no real kidnapping - we are dealing with a false report," Pristina Region Police spokesman Agron Borovci told Telegrafi.

The police announce that investigations into the case are continuing with the aim of fully clarifying the circumstances and identifying the legal responsibilities arising from this report.Telegraph/
