The United Kingdom announced today that it will provide Ukraine with additional multi-role missiles to strengthen the country's air defenses.
And according to foreign media, the package includes 1,000 missiles.
According to Ukrinform, the UK Ministry of Defense stated this on the social media platform X.
"The United Kingdom is ready to deliver 1,000 additional lightweight multi-role missiles," the statement said.
As it is further reported, London will supply Kiev with lightweight multi-role missiles (LMM), manufactured in the city of Belfast.
The UK Ministry of Defence added that this will help the Ukrainian Defence Forces protect the country's infrastructure from Russian missile and drone attacks.
According to Ukrinform, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte expressed confidence that the allies will find $15 billion to finance the PURL program in 2026. /Telegraph/
