First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, had a telephone conversation with the Minister of State for Europe and North America of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Stephen Doughty.

During the introductory conversation, according to the announcement, Doughty reaffirmed the United Kingdom's support for Kosovo and its international aspirations.


Konjufca thanked Doughty for the United Kingdom's continued support for Kosovo's state-building processes, as well as for its important role in strengthening democratic institutions and stability in the country.

"During the conversation, the possibilities of further expanding cooperation between the two countries and continuing close coordination on issues of common interest at the bilateral and international levels were also discussed."

"The partnership between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom remains an important pillar of the democratic development, security and international advancement of our country," the MFA said in a statement.
