The Supreme Court rejected the LVV's request for LDK votes, Sallahu: Political decision, we will turn to the Constitutional Court

The Supreme Court has rejected the request of the Vetëvendosje Movement to cancel the postal votes for the political entity Democratic League of Kosovo and its candidates.

The Deputy Minister of Justice, Blerim Sallahu, reacted to this Supreme Court decision, considering this decision to be unfair and politicized.

Sallahu stressed that this decision is a clear political and not a legal action.

"The Supreme Court today has decided to reject our appeal regarding the postal voting process. So, we are at a time when the Prosecution begins investigations regarding the well-founded suspicions regarding this process and the Supreme Court rejects the appeal on these," said Sallahu.

He stressed that there is internal information that indicates that the discussion in the Supreme Court was more political than legal, suggesting that the decision was made in a political framework and not based on legal principles.

"We have inside information that the discussion during the decision in the Supreme Court was entirely political and far from being legal and juridical, which more or less indicates the nature of the decision," Sallahu wrote.

Sallahu emphasized that LVV is determined to continue with legal steps to seek justice.

"As the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement, we will follow all legal steps in order to bring justice to this criminal and manipulation scheme," he added.

Sallahu indicated that they will file a request for the assessment of the constitutionality of the Supreme Court's decision in the Constitutional Court, requesting an interim measure against "an absurd and politically influenced decision." /Telegraph/
