The RMV government will limit margins, over 100 product groups are expected to be included

The government is expected to make a decision today on a 10-day restriction on margins in retail and wholesale trade. The decision, according to announcements, will be valid until April 30 and will include over 100 product groups.
As the Government informed, in addition to basic food products, the decision will also include hygiene products, baby food, and non-food products, which have very high margins, while being part of the basic needs of citizens.
The decision will be made based on the report of the State Market Inspectorate, according to which sellers were found to have over 20 percent margins for basic food products and over 30 percent for personal hygiene products, while importers and distributors have recorded higher margins, even up to 50 percent.
The government spokeswoman also announced inspections of producers of milk, meat, dairy and meat products.
