'Doomsday Queen' has a year's worth of food for a family of 5 - she plans to increase it even more

A woman who calls herself the "queen of doomsday" has a year's supply of food for her family of five, in case of an emergency.
Krystal Frugal, 37, has been canning food since she was just four years old, reports the Telegraph.
She grows hundreds of pounds of fresh fruit and vegetables each year - including potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, beans, peaches, apples and pumpkins - in her garden for her husband, 41, and her three children - aged 13, 12 and eight.
Krystal changes her pantry and has a supply of freeze-dried foods, such as steaks, macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets and pumpkin pie - that can last up to 25 years.
She said she is prepared for any disaster, from wars to inflation, and is currently working to have a five-year food supply.
Krystal, a content creator from Salt Lake City, Utah, said: “We don’t prepare for politics; we prepare for uncertainty. We were prepared for empty shelves and high costs because we had everything we needed right here. Being a prepared person isn’t just about preparing for the end of the world; it’s about preparing for life. We prepare for everything.”
Krystal has lived this lifestyle since she was four years old. Her late grandparents, Adelle, 76, and Clyde, 92, taught her how to grow fruits and vegetables in her garden. /Telegraph/
