The Municipal Assembly of Pristina has announced the holding of an extraordinary session, in which the proposal-decision for the approval of the Municipal budget for 2026 is expected to be discussed and voted on.

According to the official announcement of the Municipality of Pristina, the session will be held today, February 6, 2026, starting at 10:00, in the large meeting room in the old municipal building.

The meeting was called at the initiative of the Chairman of the Municipal Assembly, Fehmi Kupina, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Local Self-Government.

The only agenda item in this extraordinary session is the review and approval of the municipal budget for 2026, a key document for the financial functioning and implementation of projects planned by the Municipality of Pristina.

This session is being held at a time when the mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, has not yet made public the official composition of his governing cabinet, an issue that has sparked additional interest in political and institutional developments in the capital. /Telegrafi/
