The Ministry of Education revokes the licenses of 16 teachers in Rahovec

The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) has decided to revoke 16 teacher licenses, as part of efforts to guarantee legality and professional standards in the education system.
The news was announced by the Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci, who emphasized that the licensing and relicensing of teachers remains a key mechanism for ensuring quality in education.
According to her, during this mandate, the necessary legislation and guidelines have been adopted, and meetings have been held in municipalities to ensure that this process is carried out successfully, transparently and in accordance with relevant standards.
The decision to withdraw licenses comes after a thematic inspection conducted by the Education Inspectorate at a school in Rahovec, where violations and disregard for legal procedures were found.
Based on these findings, concrete recommendations have been given to the relevant institutions, which must be implemented within the legal deadlines.
The report with the inspection findings was previously sent to the Municipality of Rahovec, while the State Council for Teacher Licensing acted in accordance with its legal powers.
Minister Nagavci emphasized that this action demonstrates the institutional commitment to implementing the law and preserving the integrity of educational processes. She warned that MESTI will continue monitoring and intervening in any case of violation, guaranteeing transparency, equality and institutional integrity.
"Education reforms require responsibility. We remain committed to quality education and standards," declared Nagavci. /Telegrafi/
