The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Italy has informed citizens and the business community that the Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Italy for the elimination of double taxation, the prevention of fiscal evasion and its avoidance has entered into force.
According to a statement from the Kosovo embassy in Italy, based on this agreement, you are not taxed twice for the same income (in Kosovo and in Italy).
"The tax paid is recognized as a tax credit in the other country (according to the relevant rules), clear rules for salaries, liberal professions and businesses, pensions are taxed only in the country of residence, short-term employment (up to 183 days): income is taxed only in the country of residence (when the conditions of the agreement are met), exemptions for students and interns staying for study/training, more favorable rates for dividends, interests and royalties, more legal certainty for citizens and investors." /Telegrafi/
