A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday evening in Tetovo, where a 25-year-old girl from Kosovo lost her life.
The news was confirmed by the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Skopje, which announced that it is in constant contact with the Macedonian authorities regarding this case.
"The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Skopje was notified a few hours ago by the Tetovo Regional Police that today, at around 18:00, a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo was found without signs of life in a neighborhood of this city. The Embassy immediately established contact with the relevant police authorities and is closely following the development of the case," the embassy's announcement states.
According to local media reports, the body of the 25-year-old - who is suspected to have been a student in Tetovo - was found by passersby behind the city's green market, at around 19:00 PM.
As the Telegraph learns, it is suspected that she committed suicide.
Police units and the Public Prosecutor are at the scene, conducting investigations to fully clarify the case. /Telegrafi/
