Manchester United have reportedly identified Al-Hilal defender Joao Cancelo as a major reinforcement for their defensive wingers.
According to FootballTransfersUnited are interested in signing Portuguese defender Cancelo in the summer transfer window, with Ruben Amorim set to have the final say on a potential deal.
The Portugal international joined Al-Hilal last year after leaving Manchester City for €25m, but could return to Europe in 2025.
Despite Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui sharing right-back duties, United are keen to strengthen the position, with Cancelo emerging as a key target.
Cancelo, 30, has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract with Al-Hilal but could be available, with his transfer value dropping to €13m.
United could reportedly intensify their pursuit in the coming months, as the player is highly regarded.
Sporting Lisbon's Geovany Quenda is also on United's radar, but he is seen as a more attacking option. /Telegraph/
