The University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCK) has announced that a patient around 40 years old, hospitalized at the Psychiatry Clinic, has died as a result of suicide.
According to the UCCK announcement, the patient was admitted to the clinic's open ward, where patients are allowed to move outside the rooms, in accordance with medical protocols and patients' rights.
"The management of UCCK, after receiving the information, has requested a detailed report from the directorate of the Psychiatry Clinic. Currently, procedures have been initiated for a full review of the circumstances of this case," the announcement states.
UCCK has emphasized that all necessary measures will be taken in accordance with the findings that will emerge from the official report, and will be committed to further improving psychiatric services and preventing similar cases in the future. /Telegrafi/
