The 21-year-old Albanian man who planned an attack on Taylor Swift's concert in Vienna is charged with terrorism.

Austrian prosecutors have filed terrorism charges against a 21-year-old man who they say planned an attack during one of Taylor Swift's concerts in Vienna in August 2024.
Three concerts on Taylor Swift's record-breaking tour have been cancelled after authorities warned of the threat of an attack.
A spokesman for the Vienna Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed on Monday that the accused is in custody. Austrian media identified the suspect as Beran A. and said he was arrested in August 2024.
They accused him of "obtaining instructions online to make a bomb based on organic peroxide explosives, which are commonly used by the Islamic State group, and of producing a small quantity of explosives."
Prosecutors said the defendants tried several times to illegally purchase weapons abroad and bring them to Austria.
He is also suspected of being involved in planning other attacks abroad, including those in Dubai and Istanbul, although these attacks were never carried out.
If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
After the concerts were canceled, Swift wrote on social media: "The reason for the cancellation has filled me with a new sense of fear and a huge amount of guilt because so many people were planning to come to these concerts." /Telegraph/
