President Vjosa Osmani and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti participated in the flag-raising ceremony on the 17th anniversary of the declaration of Kosovo's Independence.
President Vjosa Osmani said that this is a historic day for the country.
"Congratulations on the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence. It is a day that we remember the centuries-old sacrifice that our people have made in order to enjoy this day. It is a day that we celebrate the successes that our Republic has achieved by strengthening sovereignty, statehood and the rule of law," said Osmani.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that Kosovo today is an example of security not only in the Balkan region.
"Cold winter but warm hearts as we congratulate each other on the 17th anniversary of February 17, the declaration of Kosovo's Independence as a sovereign and democratic state with territorial integrity, social progress and democratic advancement," said Kurti.
After this, Osmani and Kurti laid wreaths at the Monument to the Missing and the Memorial to the Murdered Children. /Telegraph/
