The mayoral candidates of VLEN and AKI continued their activities today as part of the campaign for the local elections.

The WLEN coalition held a rally tonight in the Municipality of Lipkovo, where one of the coalition leaders and candidate for mayor of Çair, Izet Mexhiti, also spoke, emphasizing that Albanians today are more politically mature and seek concrete results, not rhetoric.

"In the parliamentary elections we will talk about state issues, while now in the local elections our focus is on local problems and the real improvement of the lives of citizens. Those who have left do not return even for vacations, because basic conditions are lacking. We do not want to deceive people so that after the elections they are left without drinking water, no sanitation or face dangers like the mines in Llojan", said Mexhiti.

He added that VALENTINE comes with a clear program, unlike previous years, where 1 billion euros have not been wasted on monuments and corrupt projects.

The candidate for mayor of the Municipality of Chair from AKI, Bujar Osmani, at today's press conference presented the main health projects that are part of his program for the next four years, announcing a new approach to local health policy.

"Today, but also as a future mayor, I see myself as a doctor in charge of the 80.000 residents of the municipality of Chair. Although healthcare is not a direct municipal competence, every local policy affects the health of citizens," said Osmani.
The most important project that Osmani announced is the creation of a mobile hospital, like a caravan that will be present in different neighborhoods every day, where citizens will have the opportunity to undergo free preventive health checkups.
"Every day, there will be a mobile hospital in a neighborhood, where citizens will be able to voluntarily undergo preventive health checks. This is very important, not only for detecting individual cases, but also for increasing general awareness," said Osmani.

The independent candidate for the Municipality of Struga, who is supported by VLEN, Mendi Qyra, continued his meetings with citizens, unveiling his projects for the municipality, for which he is also seeking the trust of voters.

In addition to infrastructure projects, such as new roads, underground parking in the city, and tourism projects, he said he will also be committed to the cultural sector, bringing a new festival "Struga Summer".

"We have important projects. A Moroishte-Stuga road, the replacement of asbestos pipes, then we have underground parking lots in the city center and on the city beach. We have a port that will connect with Pogradec and a tourist village, possibly 2 more, which will be slightly longer-term projects," said Mendi Qyra.

Meanwhile, his opponent, Arsim Dalipi, wrote on social media that he stayed in Misleshovo.

"In Misleshov, every knock on the door had something special. We were among simple, hardworking and sincere people who love Struga and believe that change is possible. These meetings give me strength and motivation to move forward with my head held high, because on the ground it is clearly felt: on October 19, a great and convincing victory awaits us! Together with the people, together for Struga", Dalipi wrote. /Telegrafi/
