The start and finish were traditionally placed at Macedonia Square, while the approximately 2-kilometer track passed through the city center. The race was attended by professionals, beginners, but also citizens who enjoyed a festive walk. The appearance and rhythm of the event brought smiles and enthusiasm to citizens of all ages.

As the organizers announced from “First to the Top”, all participants received New Year's Santa costumes. The activity offered prizes for the fastest participants, New Year's packages for children under 10 years old, a musical program and a solemn ceremony for the winners.
