The 10 richest boxers in history are ranked - Mike Tyson and Anthony Joshua are left out
When Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury to retain his WBA, WBC and WBO heavyweight titles last month, he earned more than just the right to call himself the best in the division.
His victory at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia also gave him a fortune – and Fury didn't do too badly in defeat either.
With boxing's increased presence in that region, it's safe to say that all participants in big fights are being well taken care of financially – and this is reflected in Usyk and Fury both ranking among the top 10 richest boxers of all time.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, social media sensation Jake Paul also makes the list, having benefited significantly as a result of his controversial bout with Mike Tyson.
So rich are the fighters who make it into the top 10 that players like Mike Tyson ($20 million) and Anthony Joshua ($80 million) don't even make it. /Telegraph/
