Former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, is on a visit to Kosovo, where he is visiting his father, who is hospitalized at the UCCK Internal Clinic.
A large number of citizens have gathered to see Thaçi, and they have been standing outside the clinic for several hours, reports the Telegraph.
The Special Court has announced that Thaçi's visit is under supervision and for compelling humanitarian reasons.
"The Trial Panel and the Pre-Trial Judge have instructed the Administrative Office to manage a supervised visit to Kosovo for Hashim Thaçi to meet his father. During this supervised visit, the accused remains in the custody of the Specialist Chambers," the Specialist Chamber's announcement states. /Telegraph/
