The Anti-Smuggling Units of Kosovo Customs, in cooperation with the Investigation Sector of the Border Police Department, have conducted a surprise inspection at a business that was engaged in the sale of telephone equipment in Pristina.
During the operation, 120 iPhone and Samsung mobile phones, 5 Apple smartwatches, and some original Apple headphones were found and confiscated.
According to Customs, the total value of the confiscated goods amounts to around 60 thousand euros.
This operation, according to the announcement, is part of the joint efforts of Kosovo Customs and Kosovo Police in combating smuggling and economic crime, with the aim of protecting the internal market, the fiscal interest of the state and fair competition.
