Tahiri: There are two reasons why Albulena Haxhiu is unworthy of being Speaker of the Parliament

Xhafer Tahiri from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has stated that Albulena Haxhiu, according to him, is unworthy to lead the Kosovo Assembly. 

According to him, there are two reasons why Haxhiu does not deserve to be at the head of the legislature.

"During the time she was minister, Astrit Dehari's samples disappeared and she has not been held accountable, and also for the fact that, being the minister of justice, she has made the most unprecedented attacks on the justice sector," said Tahiri.

He further said that the Vetëvendosje Movement is evading responsibility for blocking the Parliament.

"This party must demonstrate the ability to create a majority in the assembly and elect and not block institutions," said Tahiri.

On the other hand, the elected MP from the Bosniak community, Duda Balje, said that she has decided to remain in the opposition, stating that her vote is not a "decisive vote" for the position of speaker of the parliament and the formation of the Government.

"Now, even if I were in the opposition, nothing would change. I am sure that Vetëvendosje will find a solution. Today we have decided to go into the opposition. Today we have decided and I do not believe that any change will happen," declared Duda Balje./Kallxo.com
