Sylvinho happy with Albania's performance: We changed the scheme without training

The Albanian national team coach, Sylvinho, has stated that the team did well against Andorra with a scheme that was tested for the first time, without ever training.

Albania scored a 3-0 home victory over Andorra in the second qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup.

"The boys and I are happy too. We deserved the victory to get back into the group stage. Everything is fast, we did well. I'm proud of the players. We changed the scheme a little and it worked very well."

"The substitutions depend on the game. Maybe some game you can make 4 or 5. I think honestly, if you make 4 or 5 substitutions, everything changes. Usually I liked something else, that we respected their team, they are people who play with desire and we did well."
