Alexandre Fasel, who is State Secretary of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, today held a meeting with the European Union Special Representative, Peter Sorensen.
Fasel stated that the discussion with Sorensen was "extremely fruitful", adding that further progress in the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo is essential.
"Switzerland strongly supports the EU's efforts, providing platforms for dialogue, trust-building and problem-solving, in cooperation with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue," he said.
Sorenen himself reacted to this, thanking Fasel for the hospitality, as well as for the "very good" discussion.
"Thank you Fasel for the hospitality and the very good discussion!" said Sorensen.
