Svečla reacts after the release of two Serbs: It is clear that the force of law and justice had no weight here

Acting Minister of Internal Affairs (MUP), Xhelal Sveçla, has reacted after the release of two Serbs who were arrested on Sunday in Prizren, who were said to be active officers of the Serbian security services.

Sveçla wrote in a post on the social network Facebook that the force of law and justice in this case had no weight.

"I don't know what other force released these people because it seems clear that the force of law and justice had no weight here," said Sveçla.

Meanwhile, the Basic Prosecution Office of Prizren has emphasized that it has been determined that there is currently no well-founded suspicion, as a necessary legal standard to justify the submission of a request for detention or any other measure to ensure the presence of the defendants in the proceedings.

"The Prosecutor's Office remains committed to acting with high responsibility, respecting the rights of the parties and ensuring the implementation of the law in a fair and objective manner," the announcement states.
